Today at the bank I waited on Santa and Mrs. Claus. They told me the kids were getting expensive and deposited $500. Then when Santa gave me his rolled coin, he told me sleigh fuel was getting costly too. I giggled and told him, “gotta feed all those reindeer!” It excited me because how often do you get to do business with Santa…and in person?!

In Janet Evanovich’s Ten Big Ones, a lady had held up a Frito-Lay truck. I just saw a Coca Cola truck parked up on the sidewalk and had the urge to go up to it and steal a Coke.

There’s a Bird in My Lap!

I was sitting out on our balcony, enjoying my book when a bird flew right into our sliding glass door, dropped and flapped around in my lap, then fell to the ground floor, where it sat in shock. I was use to the daily bird-hitting-the-window deal, but what had happened was such a wild series of events! How many people can say a wild bird was in their lap?!
